Conquest Vacations

MasterCard Inquiries Related to the Failure of Conquest Vacations

On Wednesday, April 15, 2009, travel operator, Conquest Vacations announced that it has shut down operations.
Please note the following scenarios:
 
Since Conquest Vacations is a tour operator only, flights and hotels booked through Conquest may not be affected by the Conquest cessation.  Cardholders need to confirm their travel itinerary with the flight and hotel companies, as these bookings may have already been scheduled and paid for by Conquest Vacations.
 
If the cardholder has booked their travel package through a travel agency, the cardholder must contact their travel agent to check on the status of the travel package.
 
If the customer has arranged a travel package directly with Conquest Vacations, the cardholder must contact Conquest directly for further instruction by e-mailing directcustomers@conquestvacations.com with a booking reference number.
 
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If the bookings were confirmed and paid for by the cardholder, and the customer does not use the services or show up for their flight, they are taking a risk by not confirming travel details and will be responsible for the charges.
 
All the above must be completed prior to MasterCard initiating a dispute on the cardholder's behalf.
