Servus Credit Union recently became aware of a scam in which the perpetrator claims to be calling from your business’ merchant (debit/credit card) services provider. The caller states that a download to your merchant equipment is necessary in preparation for the new chip card technology. Please do not authorize the download. Neither Servus Credit Union nor your merchant services provider is contacting businesses in this regard.

Servus Credit Union will provide you with plenty of notice regarding any changes necessary to your merchant equipment in preparation for the switch to Chip cards.
